1) If you are traveling alone on a plane, then you can spend the time by taking to others or by reading magazines, throughout the journey. But in case if you travel with your kids, then you need to take along with you some stuff such as toys, story books, refreshments, cookies or any drinks etc. In addition to that, remember to carry an extra or two pairs of clothes.

2) Arrangements for bedding and sleeping have to be considered while planning a long holiday trip. Take into consideration the points like the total members including children, and your budget etc. Try maximum to cut down your costs. Instead of taking two double beds you can adjust with one bed for children. The same thing if you apply for rooms, then you can surely save your money.

3) It is utmost essential to carry first aid especially if there are children on the tour. Small kids are usually prone to wounds and injuries while playing, so carrying a medical kit can of great use. Ointments, bandages, any medication etc must be included in the medical kit.

4) Try playing travel games while you are on a long road journey so that, it will distract the minds of the kids and keeps them away from boredom.

Be it a short or a long holiday vacation, a tour can never be successful without kids.
